It was such a nice stay at this cosy affordable hotel fairly close to Salisbury city centre. The room was clean and bright, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was great. We were able to park easily and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's definitely worth booking direct through the hotel website.

Loved our stay here. Friendly welcome arrived early and was given access to the room. Lots of lovely touches eg shortbread with our tea. Great shower. Felt authentic and quaint like a step back in time. Parking in front car park very accessible.
I recommend this place to stay in Salisbury. Location is a bit far from the town center but you can have a walk and be there in less than 10 minutes. Rooms are amazingly comfortable and staff is super helpful! Loved our staying there
No USB charging ports, sensor lights in hallways visible through room doors during the night, loud shower with lots of lime scale, slightly odd layout- bathroom in a cupboard. These are the only down points, other than that this place is really nice. Decent parking out front, though none was remaining when we arrived very late which was not a problem as free parking on roads surrounding during certain times+days. The road in front is quite busy and the windows do keep it out well. Staff/business seems very competent with late arrivals and have things in place for this (we arrived around 22:00 and had no problems entering room). Very old fashioned style throughout, like staying at your grandparents e.g floral bedding and knick-knacks throughout. Good little complimentary drink station and some biscuits were much appreciated after a long day. Cleanliness seemed fair, had no concerns regarding this but as with all older buildings and those with certain items, the dust lays quicker than in newer buildings. We believe the room we were in (16 I think, in the loft) definitely needs a new shower head. Very easy to book- go direct as it's cheaper than on the hotel sights. Drive past it twice as I couldn't see an entry point. Overall, a decent place to lay your head for the night but please be mindful that it is an older building and as such has little quirks that are common with these.
awesome experience from start to finish. Warm, friendly, and helpful staff. Caroline was absolutely exceptional in every way. Comfortable room with homelike touches; lace curtain on Windows; yellow bedspread to match the yellow walls. One knows that these people care about their guests. Close by bus to town or a 25-minute walk. Would most definitely stay there again.
Victoria Lodge was an excellent choice when my child started secondary school. The location was perfect. Carole, along with the other three ladies, was incredibly accommodating and made our stay truly wonderful. We had a very pleasant experience. The room was very clean, and when we needed to reschedule our dates because our property became available earlier, sweet Carole didn’t hesitate to process the refund and handled everything promptly with Booking.com. Such kind and helpful human beings ! I highly recommend this hotel.
Nice clean rooms not too far from the town centre. Excellent hosting, left keys out for us since our trains had been delayed. Super friendly hosts, loved chatting with them in the morning. Perfect for a base when you're exploring the Salisbury area. Must say, 10 out of 10 showers!
